Project Managers & Engineers
Our people are central to our culture & success
With a solid order book and great optimism to win some large contracts within NSW, the ACT and Victoria in the first quarter of 2012, we are seeking hands on, solid civil engineers who thrive on working in the field and can take responsibility for an entire infrastructure build or part thereof.
As a Project Manager you would have total management responsibility for a delegated project, ranging in possibility from a $50M+ D&C, to perhaps an architecturally designed wetlands, structures, wire rope or recreational infrastructure build. Managing your contract to completion, you will be accountable for total contract coordination and administration; responsible for such tasks as contract / bid delivery, project planning, procurement, actioning progress claims, and costing and variations management. You will liaise with employees, clients, sub-contractors, service authorities and other stakeholders to ensure the safe and successful execution of your projects.
As a Project Engineer with Cut & Fill you could work with a Project team delivering a large D&C or technically challenging structures contract or be given a ‘smaller’ contract to manage on your own under the guidance of a Construction Management team that have over 50 years collective experience.
Either way a career with Cut & Fill provides the opportunity to build just about anything within the civil construction industry. No matter where you begin, Cut & Fill has a reputation of being an employer of choice in this industry as we provide an environment where our staff are challenged; technically and practically developed and given career opportunities to be proud of.
Our positions would suit qualified civil engineer who are confident in their ability, enjoys working in the outdoors and are flexible to live away as the jobs demand (VIC, ACT, NSW or QLD). With site engineering experience you may be ready to take the next step to become a PM with total project accountability. Alternatively you may already be a Site Engineer looking for larger or more diversified civil projects to sink your teeth into and really utilise those engineering skills.
